The exhibition Yuen Ren Chao and the New Culture Movement (1915–1925) will be held in Reading Room No.1, Old Library, from April 15 to 27, 2025.

This exhibition features the precious manuscripts and archives donated by the family of Yuen Ren Chao, and incorporates the collections from Tsinghua University Library. The exhibition traces Chao's journey during the New Culture Movement, and highlights the development of his academic interests, his dedication in founding the Science Society of China, his commitment to the National Language Movement, and his teaching at Tsinghua University, while also exploring his pursuits in music, photography among other interests.
