For the convenience of the readers in the coming winter vacation, Tsinghua University Library will make several adjustments to the normal borrowing policy that allows a loan period of eight weeks. The adjusted borrowing policy (Vacation Policy) will start from Nov. 15th, 2021, and end on Jan. 27th, 2022 (hereinafter referred to as "Vacation Policy Period"). The details of the adjustments are as follows.
1. The due date of books borrowed during Vacation Policy Period is Feb. 24th, 2022.
2. Vacation Policy will change back to normal borrowing policy since Jan. 28th, 2022.
3. The due date of books that are renewed during Vacation Policy Period is Feb. 24th, HOWEVER, because of the policy that the maximum loan period allowed is 224 days, some books that were previously borrowed may be due before Feb. 24th, 2022.
4. Readers can still renew the books they borrowed after Jan. 28th, 2022, on which day Vacation Policy changes back to normal borrowing policy.
5. For the due date of a book preserved during Vacation Policy Period, please carefully refer to what the borrowing system says.
6. Readers whose library card expires before Feb. 24th, 2022 should return all the borrowed books before the expiration date of their cards. Readers from graduating classes and faculty members leaving the university should return the borrowed books as required.
7. All readers are suggested to log in “My library Card” to confirm the accuracy of their personal information and take an overview of their book-borrowing status.
